Collaborations
To make the adjustment phase easier when starting school, the preschool children regularly visit our school in their last year of kindergarten. They get to know the school environment and the premises, but they also take part in class lessons, which familiarizes them with the school rhythm, teachers and teaching situation. In the spring of the preschool year, initial diagnostics take place to check cognitive, motor and language skills. The school management will provide feedback to the kindergarten and parents promptly. Shortly before the summer holidays, future school starters are invited to a trial lesson with their teachers in order to, if possible, experience a teaching situation together with their future classmates and class teachers. Shortly before starting school, the future flex class teachers visit the daycare center to obtain important information about the individual children from the teachers.
For the well-being of the children entrusted to us, we work not only with daycare centers, but also with support centers, mobile supporters (mobile special education service), our open all-day care, the neighboring schools and the receiving schools.
There are also collaborations with the University of Augsburg, the FOS Friedberg interns, and various local clubs (Ottmaring sports club, beekeeping club, landscape protection club, state bird protection club).
